@SaigonSoul As someone who has visited Hanoi before, I can attest to the fact that the city's street food is truly a culinary wonderland. Don't leave without trying the famous bun cha and banh mi, and be sure to wash it down with a refreshing glass of bia hoi, a locally brewed beer that costs just pennies!

Hanoi has so much to offer that it is hard to believe 48 hours is enough to sample so much but it is possible. I think once people get a taste of the city though, they will end up wanting to go back for a longer stay. I know I did.

Exploring the Old Quarter, tasting the signature dishes, and visiting the popular tourist attractions are some of the must-do things in Hanoi. Even though 48 hours may not be enough to fully explore the city, these activities will give you a great start to experiencing the vibrant culture and delicious cuisine of Hanoi. Make sure to end your day by visiting the night market, where you can shop for souvenirs and try even more street food.
