I think backpacking in Vietnam anyway really is a good spot! That being said, you need to mind the weather and be prepared if you do during the high seasons with the bugs and what not. You do not want to get bit up or anything.

@tbh23 Do you mean anywhere? Yeah, I think you are right. And the weather really makes a difference too. Like you don’t want to go to an area that gets a lot of high heat and humidity and expect to have a good time backpacking.

This is an amazing list! I’ve been to Vietnam, and I have to say, it’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

I would definitely visit Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Binh Province as some must-visit spots for backpackers.

Halong Bay is probably the one I would recommend the most. The islands and scenery is just perfect. If you enjoy taking pictures, this is especially a good place the backpack through. So much to see and the nature of this area is beautiful.
