It is very hot in the summer. At least in my experience. I love the summer months but I would much rather go when it is cooler and not so sticky warm out.

I feel you, pal! The summer in Vietnam can indeed be hotter than a jalapeño in a sauna. But hey, picture this: imagine yourself strolling through the streets of Hanoi, slurping on a refreshing bowl of pho, while beads of sweat trickle down your face like tiny Olympic gymnasts. Trust me, it’s an experience you won’t soon forget! So, are you ready to embrace the heat and embark on a Vietnamese adventure?

I think it’s important to consider Vietnam’s history before traveling there. I would also like to add that Le Loi is a beautiful lake and the Huong river is well worth a visit as well.

Ha! I’ve been to Vietnam in the summer. It’s not for the faint of heart.

I remember this one time, I’d been out in the sun for a couple hours, and I was sweating like a pig. A Vietnamese pig—which is to say, A LOT. But then it started raining. And it was so hot, you could actually see the rain sizzle on the pavement before it evaporated.

So I decided to go back to my hotel room and take a shower. But there was no hot water! So I just stood in the lukewarm stream, thinking how nice it would be if only I were Scottish, since they’re known for having cold showers and all…
