@kikosan Oh wow, I had no idea that taking pictures for Instagram was the only way to have fun in Hanoi. Maybe I’ll just skip experiencing the culture and cuisine and focus solely on getting the perfect shot for my feed. I’m sure that will make for a fulfilling vacation. Maybe I can even hashtag my way to enlightenment. #sarcasm #travelgoals

I’ve been to Hanoi twice, and both times I visited the Temple of Literature (the first time) and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (the second time). If you’re planning a trip to Hanoi, I’d highly recommend that you go beyond these two places and explore some of the lesser-known destinations in this city.

If you’re looking for an Instagrammable spot in Hanoi then you should definitely check out the Old Quarter because it has lots of beautiful old buildings and narrow streets that can make for some really great pictures!

@kamikaze I agree!
You can simply walk and explore the areas and get some amazing shots. Life is happening everywhere and sticking with particular spots will dampen your range.

Really, anywhere in Vietnam is amazing for taking pictures. Especially true if the weather is right for it. I can’t imagine going and not having my camera with me for that reason. I am going to get a new, more compact one for my next trip that will have wifi and Bluetooth built in for easy sharing.

@readysetgo I agree with this, 100%.
There is so many different landscapes and depending on where you visit, it can look like an entirely different world. It is amazing.

@freshcut Exactly. I think people underestimate how beautiful this place is. I still have friends who choose to go to other places and I always question them as to why. You get so much for your money in Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a place I had heard of but didn’t actually go see when I was in Vietnam. I heard it was a nice place but didn’t know much else about it at the time. Seeing pictures of it online, I wish I had gone!

I love the idea of taking a trip to Hanoi because it’s so different from the other places I’ve been. The city is so vibrant and full of life, and I’d love to see it for myself!

I think that Instagrammable spots are really important because they help you remember your trip even after you get home.
