Nghe An sounds like a hidden gem in Vietnam that is worth exploring! It’s great to know that there are plenty of natural wonders in the province, from the mountains to the beaches and rivers. I find it fascinating that Nghe An is also the birthplace of Ho Chi Minh, and I would love to visit the sites that pay tribute to his legacy. Moreover, the local cuisine sounds delectable, and I can’t wait to try eel vermicelli and pork rolls. I appreciate the article for highlighting the underrated charm of Nghe An, and I hope more people will discover its beauty.

I’ve been to Nghe An and it’s definitely not as beautiful as it’s made out to be. The people are friendly, but the infrastructure is lacking and the poverty is quite evident. It’s a shame that such a beautiful place is so overlooked. I would recommend visiting Nghe An if you’re looking for a unique experience, but don’t expect too much.

I had the pleasure of visiting Nghe An on my last trip to Vietnam and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the region. From the stunning views of the mountains to the unique cuisine, it’s easy to see why Nghe An is so often overlooked. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience.

I have never been here but it sounds amazing! I will have to make a point to plan a trip here, even if I stay in other places, I want to at least spend a few days here!

I think Nghe An is underrated because of the weather and insects. A lot of people just can;’t tolerate the mosquitoes and don’t like going to areas like this because of them.

@boo_chan I heard some people mention this. I think this seems to be the case where there are larger pockets of water. I never had issues myself but I tend not to get attacked by them.

I have distant relatives who lived here for several years. They moved to be closer to the city 10 years ago for an easier life. I think this place is beautiful and I am happy more people are learning about it.

Sounds like a fantastic place! It’s fantastic that more people are discovering its beauty. I’ve heard that the countryside in that area is stunning. You should definitely visit if you get the chance!

This is a wonderful place. I can’t say I have stayed here or visited but I have family who have and they love it. I should really plan a trip here instead of going to places I already know I love. Try something new!

Nghe An must be underrated for sure as this is the first time I am actually reading about it. I know I have heard of the area but never as a travel destination. I am going to have to look into this place more. Thanks for writing about it!
