Vietnam’s milk tea scene is an enchanting adventure, with a plethora of options to explore. From the diverse flavors at KOI The to the distinctive brown sugar twist at The Alley, there’s something for everyone. I had no idea Vietnam had such a diverse range of places to enjoy milk tea! I’m definitely surprised by the variety of flavors and unique experiences offered by coffee shops like KOI, The Alley, and Trung Nguyen Coffee, as well as the traditional options at Dynasty Tea House and Phuc Long Coffee & Tea. I’m also intrigued by the chains like Gong Cha and Chatime that provide a wide selection. Can anyone recommend their favorite spot for milk tea in Vietnam?

What does milk tea taste like? I can’t say I have ever had it. I tend to have issues with eating or drinking dairy so I have to be cautious. I would like to try some. We have a place not too far from here that opened and has it.

@truebaby It just tastes creamy. So whatever flavor you do, just imagine it with light cream. I personally love the green tea varieties as it balances out the bitterness.

I haven’t had any milk tea in some time. I should really just get some recipes online and just make my own. None of the shops around here do it right.

I do enjoy milk tea. I prefer it without the tapioca balls in the bottom though. I know a lot of people love that part but I prefer mine with fruit!

You really can’t go wrong with bubble tea anywhere in Vietnam but these are some great suggestions. I have had a few of these places and was never disappointed.

I understand the struggle of deciding with so many options out there. Have you tried the classic pearl milk tea or the creamy taro milk tea yet?

Bubble tea became a trend out of nowhere all around the world it seems. I personally am not a fan of the “bubbles”. I prefer the tear without it and just with condensed milk, fruits, syrups, and sugar.

Milk tea is amazing! I have only had it a few times. We have one place where I live that does it but it does not compare to Vietnam’s. They just do it so much better!

I’ve been to Vietnam twice, and I absolutely love the milk tea there. It’s always been a little bit different. Sometimes it’s sweeter than others, and sometimes it has a stronger or weaker tea flavor. But the best part is that all of them have a sweet, creamy taste that’s just perfect for the hot weather.
