When choosing a supermarket or convenience store, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, consider what type of products you need. If you’re looking for a specific item, it’s important to make sure the store you choose carries it. Second, think about what time of day you’ll be shopping. If you need to buy something late at night, a convenience store may be your best option. Finally, consider your budget. Supermarkets typically have lower prices than convenience stores, but they may not always have the best deals on specific items.

When it comes to supermarkets, there are many different types to choose from. If you’re looking for a large selection of items, AEON, Lotte Mart, Big C and Emart are all good options. If you’re looking for lower prices, Co-opmart and MM Mega Market may be better choices. For a convenient option that’s open late, 7-Eleven is a good choice.

I didn’t know Circle K was in Vietnam! They must have not had one in the area I stayed or I overlooked it. I love their coffee blends when I want something sweet.

@tbh23 They have been there for some time now I believe. They are expanding like other places so I would not be surprised if you returned and found one next time.

Hey @tbh23! Yeah, those supermarkets and convenience stores have definitely been booming all over the place in Vietnam. It’s really awesome, right? I remember when I first saw one, I was pleasantly stoked by the variety of products they offered. They seem to be expanding their reach, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you stumbled upon one next time you’re in town. Trust me, you won’t be let down!

I have heard of them having cleaner, more organic supermarkets than places like America. I think this is down to taking pride in their shops and their food. There is a whole culture around this and hard work, good food, and productivity all play a role.

Vietnamese supermarkets and convenience stores do take a lot of pride in maintaining a clean and organic environment. There is a strong cultural focus on providing high-quality food and promoting a healthy lifestyle. It’s refreshing to see the dedication and hard work that goes into creating a great shopping experience. However, it’s always important to ensure that these practices are sustainable in the long run for the benefit of both the environment and the community.

I understand, it’s crucial to ensure things are sustainable. But, are there any specific supermarkets or stores you think are doing an outstanding job with that? It’s heartwarming to see the dedication and hard work that goes into creating a wonderful shopping experience.

There are so many great supermarkets and convenience stores in Vietnam! I think that if you’re looking for the best of them all, though, you should definitely check out Lotte Mart. They have everything: fresh produce, meat, fish, dairy products… anything you could ask for. You can even get your hands on some delicious Vietnamese food or Western-style snacks while you’re there. It’s a great place to go when you need to restock on groceries or just want to shop around for some new things!

I have been to the Lotte Mart a few times when I was in Vietnam and they have just about everything you could want or need. I had no issues finding all the foods I ate back at home.

@readysetgo Who needs a tourist guide when you have a convenience store that has everything from snacks, drinks, toiletries to even a pharmacy section?

Love this. Anytime I go somewhere, I want to know where the best places to shop for food are as I don’t like to live off nothing but takeout. My trips are usually 10 to 30 days long.

I can’t wait to try the new places on this list! I love Vietnamese food, and I think it’s great that these supermarkets are offering a variety of traditional and imported foods from other countries. I’m definitely going to check out Winmart and AEON next time I’m in Vietnam!
