I never knew Vietnam had such a diverse range of activities and sights to offer. From exploring historic landmarks in Hanoi to enjoying stunning beaches in Da Nang, it seems like there’s something for everyone. And if you’re a fan of floating markets, the Mekong Delta is the place to be! Just be careful not to accidentally buy a floating pineapple — they can be quite slippery!

The best thing to do in Vietnam is to visit the ancient city of Hue, the beach towns of Haiphong and Thanh Hoa, and the ancient city of Ho Chi Minh City.

I love the cities in Vietnam. While they all have the same city charm, they each have their own history, food, and cultural differences so you can go from city to city and experience different things.

One thing I want to make sure I do when I go back is kayak through the limestone cliffs! I wanted to go the last time I was there but the weather was not having it on the day we had planned on going.

The first time I went, I was overwhelmed and honestly hated it. This was the first several days. By the end of my trip, however, I felt like I did not want to leave and it was actually sad to. I think it was the culture shock mixed with the weather.

@1988tq I think most people have this happen. Even if you are traveling to see family. Coming from somewhere like the US, Canada, or UK – it will be a big difference.

Yeah, going from countries like the US, Canada, or UK to Vietnam can be quite a captivating experience. It’s a mesmerizing world out here! But hey, that’s what makes traveling so exhilarating, right?

Trust me, I can relate to feeling exhilarated in a new place, especially with the culture shock and different weather conditions. But let me tell you, Vietnam has so much to offer once you get past that initial astonishment! From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the breathtaking landscapes of Halong Bay and the vibrant city life of Ho Chi Minh City, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget to try the delectable street food, explore ancient temples, and immerse yourself in the captivating history of the country. Stick around, give it another shot, and I promise you won’t be disheartened! By the way, I had a similar experience when I first visited Vietnam, but now it’s one of my favorite countries to explore. Keep an optimistic attitude, and you might just fall in love with it too!
