For the summer, it is important to wear light and airy clothing. Cotton shirts are always a great option since they’ll keep you cool in hot weather without being too heavy or bulky on your frame! Avoid synthetic fabrics- these will trap heat just like Problem? Make sure that if there’s going be any clothes involved during this season then opt for something made of lightweight fabric so as not add extra pounds around waistline area where most people carry their body weight differently depending upon gender.

In the winter, you need to be mindful of how much clothing is going on. Layers are your best bet for staying warm without being too hot in an air conditioning environment or taking up valuable space inside with bulky coats that only serve one purpose- insulation from chilly mornings when it’s still below freezing outside! Synthetic fabrics like polyester don’t do well during these cold months because they trap heat within their fabric which makes wearing them uncomfortable. Instead choose natural fibers such as wool or cotton; both options will keep us warmer while not making us compromise our style points either.

The fall and spring are transitional seasons, so you’ll want to dress accordingly. A light jacket or cardigan is a good option, as you can always take it off if you get too warm. Wearing layers will also allow you to adjust to the changing temperatures throughout the day.

The styles they wear almost always mesh with the weather and serve a purpose. That being said, even their most cooling clothing cannot be enough if you are not used to humid hot air!

I find the Vietnamese traditional dress aesthetically pleasing.

I agree that you should dress accordingly for the weather, but I think you missed one key point: Hanoi is known as the “Paris of the East,” and so it’s not just a matter of dressing for the weather, it’s also a matter of dressing for the occasion.

@BenjaminNgo This is true! You want to dress properly otherwise you will stand out like a sore thumb. It is very much a fashion district and people here dress elegantly and always dress up to go out into the public areas.

I think one of the easiest ways to deal with humid hot air is to keep yourself wet. Anytime I travel somewhere hot and humid, I will bring one of those fans that you can attach to a water bottle or fill with water and I just keep myself wet

I love the advice of wearing layers, especially if you’re going to be out in the sun a lot. I’m also a fan of bringing a bottle of water with you on your walk, so you can stay hydrated as you go! It’s good to always keep some kind of sunscreen with you, too!

I can’t deal with the hot humid weather in the summer which is why I have never gone during this season. I went to Japan once in the summer and HATED it. I know Vietnam is similar. I don’t want to risk ruining another trip. Even cotton clothing did me no favors but I run hot.
