Does anyone enjoy arts and crafts as hobbies? Things like painting, drawing, working with clay, or anything simular to that. I have been considering getting into some sort of hobby. I am just not sure where to start or what I would even be good at!

I used to make charms using polymer clay. I still have the supplies somewhere but I have not made anything of the sort in a good 10 years now. I wanted to get into acrylic pouring but because I have cats and not much space, I haven't been able to do much with that. They take forever to dry and the last one I made ended up on the floor. I had to pay to have the carpet replaced!

I draw on a digital drawing pad. I am still learning it. I used to draw on paper but I didn't do much while I was in school and somehow forgot a lot of the skills I learned.

@mrzero I have tried to get into digital drawing for a few years and can't seem to do it. I draw way better using physical media and I feel like I just stare blankly at the screen for hours not knowing what to do with it.

I don't really have a hobby like this right now. Unless you count simulations where you build things. I mainly just play video games in my down time.

I made jewelry when I was younger.  I haven't done that in years though. It was pretty fun and relaxing. I know I still have some supplies left from when I did. Maybe I should consider getting back into this.

@teresanguyen You should! I have an aunt that used to make and sell jewelry and she made really good money doing this. She focused on repurposing vintage jewelry so there was value in what you buy.

Bead working is a lot of fun. There are several different things you can do with beads. I like to make jewelry and other beaded items like handing mobiles.

I've been interested in painting for a few years now. I haven't completed any painting courses, and I develop in this field independently. Perhaps my creative work does not deserve high marks, but I do not need people's opinions.
