I know not everyone does. I have some friends who don't. My family has always celebrated it but more so for spring as a season, not so much Easter in the sense of religion or bunnies and chickies. Do you celebrate?Â
No, I can't say I do. We do have a Spring celebration but it is not n the same day as Easter, at least I don't think it is. I really don't know much about the holiday.
I'm really don't know much about this holiday Â
Some of my friends do, and I have a few family members that do as well but most don't. I guess it depends on where you were raised. It seems to be a VERY western tradition.Â
My family has done so for a while. We don't do all the typical stuff with the eggs and bunnies, we aren't Pagans but we do have a dinner that is based in family and faith.Â
Some go to church, all of us do lots of eating with all of the family-members...and I am having Colomba pasquale right now (yumyumyum).
Easter is a good excuse to eat chocolate, that's the only special thing I do for Easter.
I buy one or two kinder surprise eggs and get sad when yet again inside both there's a figurine and not something cool I can build myself.
I celebrate by eating gigantic amounts of food. I'm not religious at all, it's just an excuse to eat.
