The weather is getting weird!  

It seems like the cold is moving across the country quickly. My mother told me she grew up being told that the weather is shifting and one day California would be more like New York and vice versa when it comes to weather. 

I think this is normal. Weather changes every so many years. I notice it the most during the holiday season. We will have several years where it is very warm and several years where it is very cold. Usually 5 or 6 years and then it flips.

I am pretty anal when it comes to the weather since I have been riding motor bikes since my teens. I am always checking it and I have not noticed anything strange. Weather goes in cycles just like TrueBaby mentions. Most people just don't notice it because they don't pay attention enough or remember weather from a few months ago much less years ago. 

I think it is getting cooler in some places and warmer in others. I noticed the last few holiday seasons have been getting colder while family in warmer areas are saying the opposite, it has been warmer. 

You mention temperatures for Vietnam or California ???? This said, it is true that the climate has changed in Vietnam; winters (mid-December-end of February) are now warmer and there are more typhoons and big floods in the Center ( Huê and Hoi An beginning Sept-end of Nov - )

The temps are always going up and down but I think that the rate at which they keep changing is what is causing the issue, not the change itself. The change should be much slower and last longer but seems to have gone from several decades to just 5 or 6 years. 

i think the weird weather is related to global warming. I also think that we may be entering the ice age. Scary times!
