A 2,073.5-foot-long (622-meter) bridge made of glass — set to open April 30 for the Reunification Day holiday in Vietnam and believed to be the world's longest — is set to be submitted to Guinness World Records for recognition as the longest in the world. Only 500 tourists will be allowed on the bridge at a time for safety reasons, local media reported.

Maybe it is just me but a bridge made of glass sounds a bit... Risky. I guess this makes sense to have a limit but still. I would be so nervous to use it!

I love the idea and the way it looks but I too would be too scared to walk on it. I won't even go on those glass balconies or pools you see in some ritzy hotels.

Happy for them to be breaking a record!

@caphekitty yeah same here, I would be afraid to walk on it. Especially if it has the fake cracking effect like some glass bridges in China do.

I was on a glass bridge one time and I swear I felt it crack or something so yeah, count me out! I would still love to see it in person. Get some pictures of it and then slowly back away haha

I love buildings and bridges that are done in glass like this!! I would love to walk over it someday. Get some pictures!! I can understand being scared but you have to trust the builders.
