Hotel de la Coupole in Sapa, Vietnam is probably my favorite. You are looking at nearly a 10-star experience in an award-winning 5-star hotel at about $150 a night.
@danggang I have heard of this place and just looked into it after reading this. Wow, yeah the prices are insane for what you get! Like for real. I mean it is hard to believe this when you compare it to other places around the world.
I stayed at the Apricot Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam a handful of years ago and loved it. I am not sure what the prices would be today but it was insanely affordable for what I got. I was considering staying elsewhere and would not have saved much.
@soulie This is a really lovely hotel for sure. I think it is one of the best ones if I am not mistaken. Like part of a top 5 list. That would be a good article for the site. I would love to see how these luxury hotels compare.
I have never stayed in a luxury place to know the prices. Are they shown online anywhere to compare? I am curious to see how luxury hotels match up against places in Canada, the US and UK.
