I feel it's time so...

I feel it's time some companies should band together and create a decent Vpop group.

Ever since 365 daband which was very successful, none of their successors has made any deep impact in Vpop. Often accused of copying Kpop and being a cheap version of it. One terrible example is Zero9. Only Uni5 and Monstar do earn some respect from audience, but they are C-celebrity status. I think it's time, 6thSense(Uni5, LipB, Han Sara), ST.319(Amee, Monstar) and one big national company like Yeah1, Nhaccuatui, Zing og VCT, work together to create a idol survival show to showcase the best skills and talent I know many vietnamese has. I'm not talking about replicating 100% shows like Produce or Youth with You, but take inspiration from them. I believe a risky project like this can change people's attitude towards Vpop groups. Idol culture has always been fan driven, but what about a Vpop group that can unite the huge vietnamese Kpop fans? Other countries has done it, for example the filippino group SB19. They managed to chart on the Billboard Social Chart Top 50.

This is a great idea you have. You are right that idol culture is fan driven and I believe shows like these are a big risk with high amounts of good results. Vpop groups should unite to make an impact and drive more fans towards them

@jaden_66 I agree with you on that. And uni5fan99 has presented a good idea that can boost the vpop industry.

I don't think I'd ever want the discussion be about companies making new vpop bands. I'd rather them be people who want to make great music, and decide to come together to do so.

Having companies make it makes it sound corporate like Walmart making their own vpop band or something. No offense, just thought it weird to mention companies.

But you are right. Some shows like that have created tons of talent. And I suppose it could be a good way to find good talent. I just feel like we're looking at the wrong places. Times are changing and I don't even know if the youth are into these types of shows anymore. No one watches tv anymore, they're watching tiktok or social media. And I think that's where most people are going to draw their attention.
