Do you have any experience with making music yourself?  

I don't but I am with you on wishing I did. I have no idea where to start or how to even approach this. I know there are some sites where you can make and save simple 8-bit style music. You can probably play around with one of those and see what you can make. 

I wish I could say I did. I do know how to play a few instruments but I can't put together music on my computer as other people can. I think it is pretty amazing. I would love to learn someday. Right now I don't have time for it.

I can play a few instruments but I never actually tried making music or a song. I just cover other songs on a single instrument. I think it is really cool that people can make music on their computers though. I would have no clue where to start.
