So I have been having a hard time finding a filter that works well enough. I don't like drinking tap water, I like it to be extra clean. But all the filters I have tried, the water just doesn't taste good. So I keep having to buy water jugs and bottles which I know are not good for the environment.

Does anyone know of a filter that actually cleans the water and makes it taste good? I typically buy spring water.

I guess this depends on where you live. I am not sure which region you are in to make good recommendations. I find it best to just go with a reverse osmosis filtration system under your sink. To me, this is the closest you will get to spring water but it is considered the cleanest form of water so no healthy minerals or anything. You will want to supplement those.

I agree with the post above. Your best best is just to invest in a sink filtration system. Upfront it will cost more but you will save in the long run. You can even get some glass water bottles to reuse and keep filled up.

I just buy spring water. I don't bother with filters. I have tried several different ones and they all make the water taste bad to me. Maybe I am just too sensitive to the minerals or chemicals or something, I don't know.
