I have a friend who has been in a long-distance relationship for almost four years now. They live in different countries and get to see each other 4 times a year.. Minus 2020, they couldn't see each other at all that year. I don't know how they do it. I couldn't imagine being a 10 hour drive away from someone much less a 10 hour flight!

I was when I was younger but it was only before my GF at the time moved away. I was sad but, what ya going to do? We tried to make it work for 3 or 4 months but eventually gave up on it. We were too young to travel and afford to see each other.
No, not me. I am not sure if I could handle it. I do have a few friends that have been in them, one still currently is. It is not something I would want to do personally.
I was but it was still within reason. She was 3 hours away. She went to a different college than I did and we kept the relationship going. It was fine for the first year but we grew apart and I know she wanted to explore her options.
Yes and no. I dated someone online for a while but we never actually met IRL. We were planning on it but he ended up getting too busy with work and just couldn't travel. We agreed to just keep in touch and if the time is ever right, we will meet.
