Has anyone in your family over in Vietnam come down with covid? It seems like Vietnam can't figure out a way to stop the covid problem. I heard there was 14,000 new cases of covid recently and I don't know when that will stop. I'm thankful that family out there don't have covid, but I do worry they will catch it soon. What about you? Are you still worried?

This was just Monday: https://vietnamnews.vn/society/1094253/viet-nam-confirms-14591-new-covid-19-cases-on-monday.html

5 people in my family have had it who live in Vietnam out of maybe 25. Some said they tested positive though but didn't feel sick. It is hard to know for sure as there were people who weren't getting tested or showing signs at all.

I only have a few members that live there and they have all had COVID. I think almost everyone in my family has had it, even my friends. No one got severely sick. Well, my one uncle did but he is a heavy smoker (2 packs a day) so he was in the hospital for a few weeks from not being able to breathe. It ended up helping him in the long run. He only smokes half a pack now and is working on quitting altogether.

All my family in Vietnam have been vaccinated. Only one member has caught covid with no symptoms and had to quarantine for 3 weeks.
