When working in Vietnam, what should I know? I want to eventually work in Vietnam and of course live there. But, I was wondering how pay is dealt in Vietnam, are taxes taken out, is the pay more or less? I'm curious to know what jobs are like in Vietnam.
I wouldn't know to be honest. I imagine if you want to work there, they would require you to go through some hurdles. I don't know how they pay employees, I imagine taxes are taken out, but I could be wrong.
No WHT is applicable for foreigner working in VN. But you need to have work permit , and working visa type. I think you may need to find the agent to connect between you and employers in Vietnam.
If I ever move to Vietnam, I will be moving there when I retire and I have a stable check coming in. I don't want to end up working when I move there. I want to live my life out in comfort.
