Imgur is one of those image/video sharing platforms, where people can share their stuff for likes. Not all content is popular on imgur, but if it becomes popular, it goes to the front page for everyone to see. I have never gotten anywhere on imgur, but know people who have.
I just like going on there for memes and stuff. I rarely upload anything myself.
