As a kid, I used to sleep on a chair a lot. Don't worry, it was a recliner. I used to have trouble laying down and sleeping, so I gravitated to the chair. I eventually started sleeping in a bed and preferred that a lot more. But did you ever prefer to sleep in a recliner or other chairs?
I had a bad back a few years back that caused me issues with sleeping while laying down. I had to sleep in a chair or couch, otherwise my back would strain and I'd have trouble getting out of bed. So, I slept sitting up for a while until my back pain was resolved.
These days I sleep on a bed. But can easily sleep sitting up too if need be.
