These days, I feel it's kinda pointless to buy CDs and other physical media. I mean, movies, tv, music, games are all releasing digitally these days, so what's the point in buying the physical media anymore?
Not as much as I used to. I used to collect CDs, but they will eventually go through disc rot, which means the disc will become useless sadly. I have some movies, games, and more yet still sitting on my shelves. But I don't usually get anything new.
I will buy one now and then but most of my music content is digital at this point. It is easier for me to make use of it with my MP3 players, phone, and other devices. I would be stuck using a CD player if I still bought CDs.
