Do you think holistic medicine is better?

I have some friends who are very firm with medication and healing practices and will only go down the route of holistic and natural treatments. I feel like these do have a place in this world but once something is too far gone, you need better treatment options through modern medicine. Thoughts?

Better? I wouldn't say it is better but I guess if you have a minor issue that can be solved with food and vitamins, it is probably a better approach. The medication comes with risks.

For some things, I would argue it is but this would go hand in hand with taking care of your body. As mentioned above, you can let things get so bad and so advanced that you need more modern medicine to actually correct the issue.

I think it's best to use on small things. I wouldn't rely on them in the case of serious medical issues, but if it's to help with skin issues, or something small, I would consider it. But for the most part, holistic medicine isn't meant for much.

The best way to have good health is through prevention. I think in this sense, holistic medicine is great. You want to aim to do things to support your body and make sure it stays healthy. At the first sign of something being off, you must correct it. Illnesses are almost always caused by minor issues that were not treated years prior.
