Do you think nuclear energy is the best option?

I have been looking into this more and more. It seems we cannot rely on oil forever. I think cutting back on it now can help hinder a lot of the damages we may face down the road. But what options are we then left with? Wind energy is very unreliable and unstable. There is no "good" way to go about using it, not on a large scale. Solar energy is much of the same only we have no way to rid the solar panels when they no longer function without it being a health risk to us or nature. So what is left is nuclear energy.

How do you feel about this?

I have thought this for awhile now but most people are scared of it because of the few accidents we have had. I feel like we need to move in some sort of direction though that is realistic and sustainable.

I don't think we found/discovered the best option overall but it would appear to be the best option we have right now. Oil is too damaging. I know wind turbines kill a lot of birds every year which is not good.

Maybe?

I mean I don't know much about it. I think we need to respect the earth and nature more for sure but we also can't just change what we have grown from overnight. I think we should transition slowly away from modern energy.
