For those of you who have grow vegetables, I noticed something wrong with my carrots. I had never done carrots before but it was time to pull them and there is hardly any carrot! Most of them are smaller than my pinky! I can't figure out what I did wrong. They were growing for 75 days!

Usually, overcrowding will do this. How many did you plant together? You want to allow them to have a few inches on all sides of the seed.

Maybe you didn't water them enough? I have never grown carrots. I have a feeling SoVintage might be right though since they are tube/root veg and need more space.

If you've never grown carrots before, it's possible that you did everything right! Carrots are notoriously finicky when it comes to growing conditions, and they're also sensitive to any pests or diseases in the soil.

The other possibility is that your carrots were simply stunted by the amount of time they spent being grown indoors.

I have never been able to grow them right. I have tried several times and different methods. It seems like certain types are easier to grow than others. Maybe you were growing something more advanced?
