I think that “beach hopping” is a great way to relax in Northern Vietnam. There are many beautiful beaches around the region, and you can easily spend days on them if you want.

@RinieTran What is the best area for this? I know there are a lot of beaches but I would imagine they need to be close together, close enough anyway, to do this without wasting time!

I would add to this list the best way to relax in northern Vietnam: taking a bike ride through the countryside. The Vietnamese countryside is stunning and you'll see local farmers going about their business, which is always a calming sight.

I love articles like these. Sometimes I am planning a trip and completely overlook or forget amazing things I can be enjoying in the area. Vietnam is such a beautiful place filled with everything!

There are so many different things to do. I have yet to do everything I want to in Vietnam but one of my favorite ways to relax when I go is getting some coffee or tea early in the morning and just enjoying nature.

@homeg1rl This is something I did the last time I went and I feel like I was missing out this whole time. There are parks, fields, and outdoor areas that are just amazing!

Up north is my favorite area for the food, culture, and weather. I have been to many different areas around Vietnam but I have gone to northern Vietnam several times.

I disagree, as I find the central region of Vietnam to be the most relaxing. The slower pace of life and stunning landscapes make it a great place to unwind.

There are many ways to relax in Northern Vietnam, including taking a walk in the park, visiting a beach, visiting a temple, or taking a trip to a nearby city.

I absolutely love Northern Vietnam! The scenery is just gorgeous and there's so much to do. I definitely recommend Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, and Mai Chau Valley. And a cooking class is always a great way to learn more about the culture.

I like to go for a drive in the country and spend time outdoors. There's something about the rural atmosphere that really relaxes me.
