Halong Bay is probably the one I would recommend the most. The islands and scenery is just perfect. If you enjoy taking pictures, this is especially a good place the backpack through. So much to see and the nature of this area is beautiful.

This is an amazing list! I've been to Vietnam, and I have to say, it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

I would definitely visit Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Binh Province as some must-visit spots for backpackers.

The culture there is so rich, and it's amazing to see how much the Vietnamese people have preserved their traditions.

I think backpacking in Vietnam anyway really is a good spot! That being said, you need to mind the weather and be prepared if you do during the high seasons with the bugs and what not. You do not want to get bit up or anything.

@tbh23 Do you mean anywhere? Yeah, I think you are right. And the weather really makes a difference too. Like you don't want to go to an area that gets a lot of high heat and humidity and expect to have a good time backpacking.

@TBH23 Backpacking in Vietnam indeed offers an incredible experience. However, it's crucial to take precautions during the high seasons to avoid getting bitten by insects and other potential hazards. Proper preparation will ensure a safe and unforgettable journey.

I am not a fan of backpacking but I admire those you enjoy it. I would much rather take a taxi and enjoy the places around me without going a far distance when I am in another country lol

I'm not much of a traveler myself, but I've heard that Vietnam is a great destination for backpackers. I'm sure there are a lot of places to see and things to do.

I'm so jealous of anyone that gets to travel to Vietnam! Its stunning landscapes and cities make it the perfect destination for an unforgettable adventure. There's so much to explore, from the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City to the peaceful Mekong Delta and everything in between.
