Probably one of the big major cities first then venture out to the smaller towns. I recommend HCMC, Hanoi, Da Nang or Nha Trang as your first destination.

Hanoi for sure. I think it's my go to place whenever I travel over to Vietnam. The rest can be checked out afterwards. :)

If you enjoy parties, HCM is the best place to go. If you like peaceful and nice beaches, I think Danang is a good choice 👍
