Pho is the best to me as well but I also like Bun Thang. I have tried a few others and just didn't care for them. They were usually too sweet or spicy for me.

It sounds like you've had some mixed experiences with Vietnamese soups, finding them too sweet or spicy for your taste, but I highly recommend giving Canh Chua Ca a try, this unique soup made with fish, tamarind, pineapple, and tomato might just surprise you with its delightful balance of flavors!

Well, fear not, my friend, because there are plenty of other delicious options to explore beyond the ever-popular pho! One soup that I highly recommend is Canh Chua Ca. I'm a huge fan of pho, but I also love other Vietnamese soups like Hanoi or Hue style. I think it's great that you're highlighting some of the lesser-known options.

Nothing will make me change my mind about pho! I am not a fan of most of the soups mentioned. I guess I am just too picky when it comes to soup. Once I find one I like, that is all I want.

Pho will always be better. I mean who here thinks there is a better option?!

I think it has the perfect balance for a soup and nothing can beat it.

I've got a suggestion for you! Have you ever considered exploring beyond the popular pho and trying out these five Vietnamese soups? They often go unnoticed due to pho's fame, but they offer a delightful variety of flavors and ingredients. For a heartier option, Bun Rieu Cua combines sweet and sour flavors with crab meat, creating a filling experience. If you're up for some spice, Bun Bo Hue is a must-try with its complex broth made from lemongrass, shrimp paste, and other aromatic ingredients. And if you prefer a lighter choice, the Hu Tieu Nam Vang with its clear broth, pork, and shrimp, garnished with fresh herbs and lime wedges, is a refreshing option. So why not venture beyond pho and discover these delicious Vietnamese soups?
