Is Dat Lat considered an expensive place to visit? I have never been here to know but I do love reading about the hotels and seeing the luxury suites different areas provide. These sound amazing!

@pinkcherie Yes and no. They have budget-friendly shops, restaurants, and places you can stay but they also have luxury stores and wealthy districts.

I have wanted to stay in Sofitel Dalat Palace since I first discovered it on a top-rated hotel list. I will stay there someday! I know it is not cheap so it is something I will have to plan a few years out for.

I've been to Da Lat and it's really a beautiful city, and I can see why it's so popular with tourists.

You don't have to be rich to live like a king for a day or two.

@britishburton This is what I was thinking when I first heard about Da Lat. It is one of those places where you can really indulge yourself without doing into debt. It is probably one of the cheapest luxury experiences you can find on the planet! From hotels to restaurants.

These hotels are too expensive. But I'm wondering: if you're going to Da Lat, why would you stay in a hotel? There are so many more affordable options in the area.

First, there's homestays. These are great for families who want to get out of the city for a bit and don't mind having someone else cook for them. You can even find places where you can get help making your own food, or just rent the house itself and have your own cooking space while sharing meals with other guests.

Then there are hostels and guesthouses. These are also great options if you're looking for something cheap and they're often cheaper than a hotel room! If you want some privacy but don't want to spend a fortune on a private room, this could be just what you need.

Finally, there are campgrounds near Da Lat that offer cabins or tents for rent (at least during certain times of year). These may be a little more expensive than some options right off the bat because they require transportation costs (or renting an RV), but it's worth investigating.

I stayed at Da Lat Palace Hotel and Spa in Da Lat, Vietnam. It's a gorgeous resort with a spa and pool, and it's located on the top of a hill overlooking the city from above. The view was stunning.

@vietzone It sounds like the Da Lat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa would be the perfect place to unwind and relax with its beautiful lake views and luxurious amenities.

I have never stayed in a luxury hotel in Vietnam but I know from looking at prices, you get so much for your money. If you want to spend a few nights in a luxury hotel in other places of the world, you are easily spending 4 times the amount, if not more!

I'm not sure if Da Lat is the place for a luxury hotel vacation, but I'm definitely interested in finding out! The Top 10 seems like a good place to start.

@Starlight32 It's understandable to have reservations about luxury hotels in Da Lat, but rest assured that the Top 10 list is a great starting point for exploring the city's luxurious offerings. I hope you have a wonderful and memorable stay in one of these resorts.
