Sapa is a picturesque town in the north of Vietnam, in the very heart of the Himalayan Mountains. It’s a fantastic destination to explore on foot, by bicycle or simply sitting at one of the many cafes and bakeries lending spectacular views over the mountains. I had hoped to go to this area in 2020 but things got messed up for me and I haven't traveled anywhere since. I was hoping to plan a trip for this year but I am still hesitant to do so. I ended up losing money on my trip as it had already been paid for and everything.

Is this meant to be a big tourist place now? I never really heard people talking about going here but I do remember seeing a lot of posts about the place on Instagram pre-covid.

@freshcut This is a small town in the mountains of northern Vietnam, to be fair it is still wild. But if you need a breath of fresh air it is very suitable, it has big hotel with swimming pool and luxury restaurant, but I forgot the name of the hotel, you can find out if you really want to come here. I rate this place as a famous tourist destination of Vietnam.

Sapa is the only place with snow in Vietnam. Do you know that?
