Is marriage in Vietnam still held at a high regard?

Many places around the world (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc) seem to have taken away a lot of the standards when it comes to marriage. Most people in these countries don't seem to act like it is a big deal to not get married or to get several divorces. How are things in Vietnam? I never actually looked too much into this. I did notice when I went, there were a lot of older couples.

Yes, I believe it is. When I compare numbers and what I know of the general areas I have visited, there are far more married couples of all ages in comparison to the places you mentioned.

Yes, for sure it is. Even with younger couples both men and women take it seriously. I am not sure if this is down to the culture or what but I feel like in places like the USA, they just lost so much of their own culture they are just destroying everything else.

I think it isn't as popular or "necessary" as it once was with younger people but most still want to get married.

Without a doubt. Both men and women take it seriously, even in younger marriages. I'm not sure if it's because of culture or what, but I get the impression that countries like the United States have lost so much of their own culture that they are ruining everything else.

The US is a mess. I just can't believe they got rid of so many of their values, standards, and morals. Everything they promote is just self-destructive behavior. Asian countries don't do this!

It is a shame so many countries don't view marriage at higher standards. Vietnam and most other Asian countries (if not all other ones) do. This is down to preserving a culture that honors and respects it.

I believe that marriage is still held in high regard in Vietnam, but I would say that there is a tendency to emphasize the importance of family over individual fulfillment. There are many ways to get married in Vietnam—by law, by tradition, or by choice—and all of them are valid.
