In 2016, Uni5, Monstar, Lime and LipB were newcomers, and created buzz. They set a new standard of using the Kpop training system and influence. With synchronized dancing and visual standard. 4 years later, only UNI5 is a bit relevant in today's Vpop market. I hope next year when Covid is reduced, we will see some new groups that maybe can be more accepted with the audience. Also going overseas and gaining new fans.

That would be cool to see! It sucks for Monstar though, I actually liked them. I think they would have been really popular now if there were better promotion and management.

Sometimes we just get a shortage of groups. It happens. For me, the 90s and early 2000s were all about boy bands and girl bands. These days those groups seem to be less and less popular, at least in the US side. But in Vietnam, and some other countries, groups are on fire. I think we'll see more coming out of Vietnam eventually.

@nick New groups must somehow convince why audience should give them support. They need to be groundbreaking. If they are going to use Kpop influence, it must be very close to what we see in Kpop. Also, the music and mv must fit to what is trendy and works in Vietnam.

Well I guess these groups are trying their best in making a good impression around the world. And on the plus side some of them are actually making good content and promoting Vpop more and more.

They are rocking a part of the world and I hope they are able to be famous all around the globe, like they make so much amazing content and I don't know why they are so underrated.

I guess everyone has points that are valid and I to believe that it's great that every new group is trying best to make their mark in th industry and I hope and wish that they'll become one of the greatest as long as they keep making fantastic content.
