Are you trying to compile a list of all artists based on what year they came out and as the sound and style advanced over the years?

I am trying to find more information on first-gen pop and I am struggling! I know there is music from that time. I have heard it before but I am not old enough to recall names or song titles. If I come across anything I will post it here.
