How often does it snow in this area? I am curious because of the main picture. The few times I have been to Vietnam, I have never seen snow!

Lao Cai is a beautiful place. I have only been there once in passing. I had wished I made it one of the locations I was staying in for a few days at least.

I wish there was a way to give this article 4 stars.

The only thing keeping it from getting a 5 star is the fact that I’m not actually in Vietnam. I love this. I’m going to visit in a couple of months.

I have been to Lao Cai, Vietnam and it’s a great place to visit. I love the scenery there, especially in Son La province.

I really enjoyed my time there and would love to go back again one day!

I love the farmlands and open fields of this area the most. The downside, like most other areas, is the humid air. That is my only complaint.

Ah, I get you! Farmlands and fields are so serene, right? But hey, about that humid air… it’s like a clingy ex, always sticking around! Maybe bring along a portable fan next time. Keep cool and enjoy the green views!

It is hard to argue against this being the most beautiful spot! I have only been here once and I did not stay nearly long enough. I am hoping to go back again soon!
