I hadn't been tracking it too much but I noticed a big difference when I found a receipt in an old purse. It was one I was using in 2020. Even had a mask in it! LOL Anyways, the receipt shows I still buy pretty much the same items on my weekly shopping but the cost has to be up like 35% overall! I was shocked cause I didn't even notice it was that bad. I knew I was paying more but that is like an extra $200 I am out every month just on groceries!

Yes, I am spending more on most things. I don't know a single thing that has not increased in price. It is really annoying because I intended buying a home a few years ago and now I can't even afford to.

I can't tell you by how much but I am spending more, yes. It sucks. The money I usually put aside each month, it isn't amounting to much anymore.

Yeah, for most things. Some stuff went up maybe 20 cents while other things went up several dollars. The chicken breast I used to buy (two breasts) for $5 is now $10.

I think some stuff hasn't changed much but meat and eggs are ridiculous right now. And pet food! I have a tin hat friend who keeps saying those WEF people are behind it all and honestly... with how they talk, I am starting to believe it LOL

Ah ell, and in your country, the prices are the same than in 2020 ??? Anyway, everything is so inexpensive apart from imported products !!!! For example, how much is a kilo of brown sugar in your place ? here, it is 20 000 VND, less than one dollar. The only thing which has become really expensive is fish.

Prices have doubled or tripled especially when it comes to meats. Eggs are 4 times the cost they normally are. The beef jerky I normally buy has doubled. Even the pet food has gone up!

As already written, for a foreign tourist or expatriates living in those countries, life is really cheap. Where else do you find a good 2-star hotel, some with swimming-pool, for 20-30$? I  just paid 26 for a beautiful small hotel in Phu Quoc with elegant bungalows around a pool, bar-restaurant and scooter location, all that 200 m from the beach. Another excellent bungalow hotel ON THE BEACH charges the same and one nearby with a large garden and pool charges of bungalows nearby charges 28. Another exemple : 35$ for the bus Hanoi-Sapa (333 km) ; how much in the USA ? etc. etc. etc.

I've definitely noticed a rise in grocery prices recently. I think it's due to supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic. It's important to prioritize and make smart choices when shopping to avoid overspending.

Everything has gone up. I don't even want to compare the prices cause I know I will be mad. I got a raise last year and I can tell you, it certainly doesn't feel like I did anymore.
