I never heard of one. I follow some gardening channels like this one and I was curious to see if anyone had actually tasted one. I can't say I even knew they existed!Â

I have heard of them but I had never had them. I only ever knew the dried version. I never actually saw the plant or the fruit itself. This is interesting stuff!
I think I had this before, it's common in Chinese medicine.
This is something I had as a kid. My grandmother always swore by it being good for health and immunity so when me and my siblings would be over her's, she would give us some.
There is a Chinese store not too far from where I live that sells them dried, like rasins. I had never tried any. I wasn't quite sure what they were but if they are like apples, I would probably enjoy them.
Never heard of them but I am not a big fruit eater!
They look and sound interesting. If I ever come across some, I will give them a go.
I have, yes but it has been a very long time. I would say they taste like a cross between an apple and a pear. These have more of a mellow/creamy flavor.Â
These are new to me. I did read up a bit about them after watching this video last night and they sound interesting. Are they used in pies or anything like that?
I hate these. I had them when I was a kid and to me, they tasted like rotten apples. Maybe I am just not a fan of them on my tastebuds, I don't know!
