I love a lot of the ones that come out of Japan. I always want to buy some but there is such a huge markup cost. Like something that sells for $4 in Japan is like $14 here, sometimes more. It is crazy! Does anyone know where I can find a place that sells Japanese mini-figures (like blind bags, boxes, etc.) online and doesn't charge that much more than the actual cost in Japan?
Sugoi Mart is the only one I know of. I know you can find them on Amazon as well but they are usually cheaper on Sugoi Mart. You can also check on eBay as well.
I can't think of anywhere that sells them cheaply. There was a place called StrapYa that I ordered from years ago but I don't think they carry mini-figures anymore, if they are even still open.
These are so hard to find and so expensive to buy online. I have gotten some in Japan when I went and Hane wanted to get more but I just can't justify paying $10+ for a $1.50 item!
I have no idea. I have tried hunting down items from Japan for a long time at responsible prices but I just can't. It helps to have a friend in Japan who can buy them and ship them for you.
The only places I have ever seen them cheaper was through auctions online and even then, you are buying them used or opened so there is no element of surprise if you are after something like gotchas.
Unfortunately, you will likely not find them cheap. There are import fees people have to pay so when you do find a site that sells them, they pass this cost on to you!
