Have you ever lived with roommates? It seems like a lot of younger people can't afford to actually buy a home these days so they opt for buying a house while renting out space within the house for roommates. I think if you know the right people, this is a solid idea but you really have to be okay with sharing your space.

I have lived with roommates in the past and I am living with roommates right now. It has been a great experience, but it is important to have the right mindset when entering into a situation like this. You need to be willing to share your space and your stuff, and you need to be open to conflicting opinions on how things should be done in your home. There are so many benefits to living with roommates, if you can put the correct framework in place for a harmonious relationship.

I am currently living with two, my sister and her friend. She is planning on moving out to live with her boyfriend so we will likely need to get another roommate. We don't own the place, just split the rent and utilities.

I have never actually had one. I only ever lived with family or with a partner. I am not sure how I would feel about it because I don't like sharing my space! lol

I lived with some on and off. I have good experiences and bad ones. I think most people can live with someone who they get along with and will often prefer it. Not many like to live alone.

I've thought wanna live alone before but now Im changed. Living with 1-2 close friends is really happy and don't feel too much lonely. But should not live with too many people.

When I first moved out, my brother and I got a place together with two of his friends. It was a 3 bedroom spot so the one stayed on the sofa for a while. He eventually moved out. At times, it was annoying. Other times it was nice always having someone around.

If you're renting an apartment with roommates, there's a decent chance one of them is much richer than the rest. If that's you, continue reading as usual. click here to read this blog https://www.nyrentownsell.com/blog/how-to-split-rent-between-roommates-useful-tips/ . If not, pay close attention and make sure to use this guide on every rich person you ever rent a place with again..

I have one right now! It is actually my sister. Well, I have "two" at the moment since her friend has been staying with us for a few months but she is leaving this month. I don't mind it. I like having company. We split the bills and it allows us to have more freedom without costing us more.

A few times. I prefer to have my own space. The only way I would do a roommate setup again is if I have my own separate space - kitchen and bath included. I don't like sharing those spaces especially!
