Soft pretzels?

This is something I have never had, up until yesterday. For the first time, I had one and my goodness... They are amazing! I can't believe I never thought to try one. The cheese that came with it was a nice mild-spicey cheddar and I was tempted to get a second one. Anyone else here try them?

I never had one. I never had any interest as I am not a fan of hard ones.

Have you had the hard ones? if so, how would you say they compare? I mean if they are different enough, I might give one a try.

I have had them before. I think they are okay. Nothing special. The ones I like the most have cinnamon sugar on them. I had one of those at an airport years ago.

I have had them a few times. I don't think they are anything special. I can eat them as a snack but I would much rather have something more salty and crunchy.

I don't like them. I had one once and it just tasted so bland. Even with the dipping sauces. I guess it is something that I just can't wrap my head around.

The only way these are good is if they have some sort of topping or sauce. Plain ones just feel like you are eating soft paper.

I have never had a regular pretzel much less a soft one. Is there a difference other than texture?

I don't typically eat this kind of food so it never was something I felt a desire to try.
