I'd just like to say that I've done a lot of traveling and I can tell you that the best way to get from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City is by plane. You can't beat the speed and convenience of air travel. And if you're looking for an easy way to get around in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, motorbike taxi is the way.

Honestly, I'd take the bus. It's an interesting experience, and it'll give you time to learn about Vietnam's history as you go. The train is also a great option, but if you don't have time for that, then definitely take the bus!

I've done a lot of travelling and I've always found that the bus is the best way to get around. You can be flexible with your schedule, and it's a lot cheaper than flying or taking trains.

Bus seems to be the easiest for most people when traveling in Vietnam, assuming you are not going too far. I have only taken a train once and it felt like I ended up wasting time.

I love the idea of taking a bus from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. It sounds like you're going to get to see a lot more of Vietnam than you would if you took a plane or train!

I have been on a few trains and I prefer it in most cases as the buses can be rather crowded. I mean this is the case for the trains as well but I guess it really just boils down to where I am going.
