Great recommendations in terms of planning a trip. I always hear people say October through January are the best times  but I think you can have a good trip in September and February as well.

I love how simple and straight to the point this is. Perfect for people considering going for their first time or even a second trip. I feel like I missed out on a lot for my first trip because I did not plan enough.

Planning is the way to go with Vietnam because you only have so much time to see and do things and it takes time to travel around. This is a fantastic article on planning.

The time of year you plan for is probably the most important. I think you need to consider price, weather, events, and your location to maximize your stay in Vietnam and make the most of it.
