I definitely agree that you should do your research before traveling to Vietnam! I went without knowing much about the culture and customs and I definitely regretted it. It would have been helpful to know more about the language and the way people interact.

Oh wow, I had no idea that Vietnam had a tropical climate, thanks for letting me know. I'm sure that won't be a problem at all when I'm packing for my trip, I'll just bring my winter coat and snow boots. And I'm sure trying new food won't be an issue either, I mean, who doesn't love a good case of food poisoning on vacation? But don't worry, I'll be sure to show my appreciation for the culture by wearing my cowboy hat and boots everywhere I go.
