Very useful information. It seems like most areas have their own apps these days which function best for that specific area. I bookmarked the page!

Thanks for a great resource. I have moved to Vietnam recently and am loving it!

I think it is a great idea to include the best food delivery apps because they can be so helpful—especially when you're new to a place and don't know what else to do when you're feeling sick.

One thing that I would add is that many places, if they're not using an app, do have their own delivery service. I know this isn't as easy as just downloading an app, but you might be able to save some money by calling and getting your food delivered directly from the restaurant without having to use an app.

I always like to make use of local delivery services when abroad for sure. I feel like some of these places could have their own services though as mentioned above so it is worth looking into if you want to save money. Apps bring up the order price usually by 10% to 15%.

@homeg1rl I'm not convinced that these food delivery apps are the best option for foreigners in Vietnam, especially with the added cost, but it's interesting to see how technology is changing the way we access food around the world.

I've tried a lot of the delivery apps in Vietnam, and I tend to use Foody to order food, Grab to get around, and Gojek when I need someone to pick up something for me from another part of town.

I apologize for not having known that there were so many food delivery apps available for foreigners in Vietnam. GrabFood seems like a great option with its extensive range of local restaurants, but GoFood's promotions and discounts make it a strong contender. Overall, this article has opened my eyes to the variety of options available for food delivery in Vietnam.
