I think it's important for people to know that if you're going to travel to Vietnam, you should have a plan. You might be tempted to just wing it and see what happens, but I recommend having a few things in mind before you go to make sure you have the best time possible.

First of all, make sure you get a visa before getting on the plane. It can take up to two weeks for it to be processed, so make sure your flight doesn't leave before then!

Next, plan out your trip so that you know what places are important for seeing and what days they're open. If you're traveling during Vietnam's rainy season, be sure not to pack too much because it can ruin your plans.

I would LOVE to spend a month there but because of work and finances, I just can't afford to do it right now. Maybe someday! I am going to read this anyways and learn.

I often wonder what a budget for something like this would look like.

I know living in Vietnam is much cheaper than in other countries, especially now post-covid. It is looking like a lot of places are going to be entering recessions because of all the debts, overspending, and the war!

You should definitely make that happen! Vietnam offers so much to explore. I found trying street food a bit nerve-wracking at first, but it was worth it!

I have never gotten to spend an entire month anywhere I have traveled to but if given the option, I would pick Vietnam time and time again. I am really hoping to go back soon. Having only gone there twice and once in passing, it just is not enough.
