@tricky I couldn't agree more! Vietnam is like a giant photo studio with endless backdrops and props. It's impossible not to snap a great shot with all the colorful markets, street food, and friendly locals.

I have heard so many people say that when the weather is just right, you can get the most amazing and wonderful shots without the use of any filters. I have never gone out of my way to get pictures while there but I have some pretty nice ones in my scrap book from my first visit.

I agree completely. Some of my favorite pictures especially of nature and natural shots have been taken in Vietnam. When you get a sunny clear day, it is like the earth is put on a vibrancy filter.

There are many areas around the world that are great for this and I feel like Vietnam is a place that is often overlooked. Funny enough, most of my friends just assumed it was rainy and cloudy non-stop there.

Oh great, another article telling us to take selfies at the expense of experiencing a new culture. Just what we need.

@compasstraveler I don't think this is about selfies. It is just generally taking pictures to remember the beauty of Vietnam and share it. I am sure some people force themselves to be in every picture but this is geared at normal Instagram users, not "infulencers".

I understand your perspective, but trust me, taking photos can truly enrich your cultural experience in Vietnam. Moreover, you can fully embrace the splendor of the country while capturing precious moments. By the way, did you know Vietnam has a remarkable history that spans centuries?

I'd recommend visiting Sapa and Ha Long Bay in the north and south of the country, respectively.

I absolutely loved Vietnam! The country has so many beautiful backdrops that are perfect for photographers, and some of my favorites included the rice terraces of Sapa and the karst cliffs of Ha Long Bay. If you're looking to capture some amazing photos of Vietnam, I recommend visiting Xuan Huong Lake and the Chancellery Building in Dak Ya!
