Is Vietnam safe for me to go out late at night? Some might find it offensive but it's just a question floating around my mind , ergo I decided to ask.
I think it's a fair question. After all the times I've been there, I can confirm, it's a pretty safe place to visit. Even so, just be cautious, as anyone would traveling to a different country. But, you should be totally fine. If you're worried going out at night, you can always have friends tag a long. Â

I've been watching some videos on YouTube taken by tourists in Da Lat. in many of the videos, people are wearing jackets, apparently at night. We will be in Da Lat in early April. Will we need to pack something warm to wear at night?
It depends on the area. Some areas are not safe and others are. Very similar to other countries. You will be a visitor and the people will likely know so you have to always make sure no one is looking to take advantage of you.
If you stick to areas where there is heavy tourism, then you have nothing to worry about really. The local police will want to safeguard guests to ensure nothing bad happens as this can cost the area money.Â
In my experience, the nightlife of any country comes with risk, especially for women. I would say for the most part you are okay but I would not go out anywhere at night alone to be on the safer side.Â
