As long as you have an umbrella and wear the right things, it can be a lot of fun doing things on a rainy day! I think people just don't like the idea of getting wet while out and about but they are the ones who never wear rain boots or jackets.

A lot of the markets are covered well enough that you can walk through just fine without getting soaked. Some areas are complete covered so you can go from shop stall to shop stall and be without an umbrella.

This is a great resource for rainy day activities!
I've been to HCMC and it's amazing, but I agree that it's also hard to plan for the weather. Always bring a raincoat!

I like to enjoy the nightlife in the rain. I don't know why. Maybe it has to go with the lights being reflected everywhere. It has such a beautiful ora to it. Even if you are just walking around.

Given that it rains a lot, it is worth planning for stuff like this so you do not feel your vacation or trip is ruined. The rain can be bothersome but you can easily find things to do still.

If you're looking for something to do on a rainy day in Ho Chi Minh City, I recommend visiting the temples. It's a great way to get out and explore the city, and the temples are always beautiful on a rainy day.

@Starlight32 Oh yes, because getting drenched in the rain while trying to explore temples sounds like such a fantastic idea.

I hate when it rains while I am on vacation so having a list like this helps a lot. You can plan ahead and find things to do without the rain ruining your plans.
