I've been using GoJek and Grab in Vietnam, and I have to say that they're both great apps. The drivers are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, so you rarely have any problems with your ride.

I think it's a good idea to compare these different taxi apps, but I think it's also important to take into account the fact that some of them will be more useful in certain parts of the country than others. For example, Grab is probably going to be your best bet if you're in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, but Vinasun is more likely to be more helpful if you're traveling through rural areas like Hoi An or Nha Trang.

I think the best taxi app in Vietnam is Vinasun. It's a Vietnamese-owned company, and they have been in the taxi business since 1999. They are also the only taxi app that accepts cash payments, which can be important when you're traveling to a new country and just arrived with only cash on hand.

@RinieTran I wonder if Fast Go is a good taxi app to use in Vietnam. It seems like they offer a lot of promotions and discounts, which could be helpful for budget-conscious travelers.

I've tried all of these apps, and my favorite is Grab.

It's got the best customer service, the most reliable drivers, and the most reliable payment system.

I think the best taxi app is the one that you use most. I've used Grab, VinaSun, GoJek, FastGo, Be and many others. They all have their pros and cons. Some work better in big cities while others work better in small towns but ultimately it's about finding the one that works for you.

@khomaly I've never been to Vietnam before, but it's good to know which taxi app to use when I do plan a trip there in the future.

I've used all of these apps and they're all great. I'd recommend gojek if you're looking for a ride-sharing app with the most options, or vinasun if you want to support a local Vietnamese company.

@kikosan I'm curious to know if any of these taxi apps have a feature that allows you to choose a specific driver you've had a good experience with in the past? That would be a game-changer for me as a frequent traveler in Vietnam.
